From state-of-the-art mission payloads to highly integrated aircraft modification programs, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and performance of advanced aerospace products.<br>
<strong>What Youâll Do</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li><strong>Lead Weight Control:</strong> Take a leading role in developing comprehensive weight control plans for large aircraft modifications.
&#9;<li><strong>Technical Analysis:</strong> Support multiple programs ranging from conceptual design studies to quick-reaction upgrades from a mass properties perspective.
&#9;<li><strong>Data Management:</strong> Generate and maintain mass properties databases to track weight and Center of Gravity (CG) estimates accurately.
&#9;<li><strong>Field Support:</strong> Support physical aircraft weighings and ensure all associated forms and charts are precisely documented.
&#9;<li><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Act as the primary point of contact for mass properties reporting, communicating effectively with multi-disciplinary design teams, external customers, and suppliers.

<strong>Required Qualifications</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelorâs of Science degree in a related engineering discipline.
&#9;<li><strong>Experience:</strong> Typically 10+ years of relevant professional experience in mass properties.
&#9;<li><strong>Technical Expertise:</strong> * Deep knowledge of <strong>SAWE Recommended Practices RP-7 and RP-8</strong>.
&#9;<ul>
&#9;&#9;<li>Proven experience building mass properties estimates from <strong>CAD data</strong>.
&#9;&#9;<li>Expertise in <strong>Parametric Weight Estimation</strong> and conceptual level design support.
&#9;&#9;<li>Demonstrated ability as an author for official weight and balance reports.
&#9;</ul>
&#9;
&#9;<li><strong>Compliance:</strong> Thorough understanding of industry-standard engineering principles and practices.
</ul>
<strong>Preferred Skills & Experience</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li><strong>Software:</strong> Experience with <strong>Dassault 3DX</strong>, <strong>Solidworks</strong>, or parametric modeling tools.
&#9;<li><strong>Specialized Training:</strong> Automated Weight and Balance System (<strong>AWBS</strong>) training within the last three years.
&#9;<li><strong>Sector Background:</strong> Experience with <strong>Commercial Derivative Aircraft (CDA)</strong> for military programs or a background in the Aerospace and Defense industry (DoD/Military).
&#9;<li><strong>Advanced Principles:</strong> Familiarity with model-based definition (MBD) and fundamentals of flight mechanics.
