<br><strong>Responsibilities of the Structural Technician:</strong><br> 

<ul>
&#9;<li>Expert Sheet Metal skills: skin doubling, structural repair, counter synching.
&#9;<li>Assemble major assembly structures and perform minor part-fitting operations, including filing, sawing, trimming, riveting, drilling, and reaming.
&#9;<li>Align parts on jigs and aerospace vehicles using templates and fixtures.
&#9;<li>Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to complete installations per technical drawings.
&#9;<li>Measure parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions and ensure quality control.
&#9;<li>Modify incomplete and complete assemblies, incorporating changes into the structure as required.
</ul>

<br><strong>Qualifications of the Structural Technician:</strong><br> 

<ul>
&#9;<li>High school diploma or GED equivalent.
&#9;<li>5+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace structural assembly.
&#9;<li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
&#9;<li>Experience with installing various fasteners (e.g., rivets, hi-locks) and using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
&#9;<li>Familiarity with airframe corrosion removal and repair techniques.
&#9;<li><strong>Must own and maintain a set of tools in good working order.</strong>
&#9;<li>Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
&#9;<li>Ability to frequently lift or carry up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
&#9;<li>Must pass physical, drug screen, background screen, driving screen.
&#9;<li><strong>Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.</strong>

Our client is seeking a skilled <strong>Electrical Engineer II</strong> to serve as an <strong>Instrumentation Specialist</strong> for a high-impact, direct-funded aerospace project. In this role, you will be responsible for the research, design, and integration of instrumentation with aircraft systems (mechanical and electrical) to support data collection for critical <strong>FAA/MIL certification requirements</strong>.<br>
You will bridge the gap between hardware design and real-world testing, ensuring all data acquisition systems meet rigorous NIST standards for calibration and verification.<br>
<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li><strong>Design & Integration:</strong> Develop and integrate instrumentation systems into aircraft to capture essential flight test data.
&#9;<li><strong>Calibration & Standards:</strong> Maintain NIST standards for measurement verification; document and control all calibration processes.
&#9;<li><strong>System Support:</strong> Manage hardware and software requirements for data acquisition systems and <strong>IADS</strong> real-time displays.
&#9;<li><strong>Testing:</strong> Support flight testing through the selection and installation of sensors, including strain gauges and accelerometers.
&#9;<li><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team to ensure seamless product development and certification.

<strong>Required Qualifications</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
&#9;<li><strong>Experience:</strong> Typically 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
