Pay Rate: $59.00 per hour
Contract Duration: 12 months

Description – Structural Engineer III
- Design, evaluate, and certify cutting-edge products and services ranging from payloads to space exploration systems.
- Examine complex metallic and composite structures and systems.
- Participate in the design and development of new products and processes throughout the full product lifecycle.
- Perform physical job duties including walking, sitting, standing, and climbing stairs/steps.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of relevant experience with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency with Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and finite element structural analysis (FEA) software (e.g., MSC Patran, Nastran, FEMAP, ANSYS).
- Demonstrated experience in static/dynamic analyses, as well as fatigue and damage tolerance analysis using tools such as NASGRO or AFGROW.
- Ability to perform classical structural analysis using industry-standard hand calculations and author substantiation reports.
- Solid background in the Aerospace and Defense industry with knowledge of parametric design and model-based definition.
- Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
