Title: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – APPLICATION MIGRATION & INTEGRATION (REMOTE)
Location: Remote (Must work Eastern Time Zone)
Pay Rate: $50 - $60 per hour
Hours: Full Time (Remote / W2 Only)
Duration: Contract through 12/31/2026 (Extension highly likely)
Summary: Lead critical software enhancements and technical application migrations resulting from a major corporate merger and acquisition. This hands-on role operates at the intersection of Business Operations, IT, Security, and Identity & Access Management to drive end-to-end execution. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical governance skills and the ability to manage complex cross-functional dependencies.
Description – Senior Project Manager – Application Migration & Integration:

Own the end-to-end execution of complex application migration and integration programs, including data, access, and software transitions.

Proactively identify project dependencies, timing constraints, and operational risks in a fast-paced environment.

Run daily Scrum meetings, manage agile ceremonies, and maintain sprint momentum using Azure DevOps (ADO).

Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical IT teams to ensure seamless alignment.

Drive user readiness by ensuring technical changes are clearly communicated, creating comprehensive documentation, and establishing training/governance structures.

Build strong, trusted relationships with IT executives and key organizational decision-makers.
Qualifications – Senior Project Manager – Application Migration & Integration:
-
5–10 years of experience leading complex application projects or programs.

Core focus in application project management with a foundational background in platform technology or technology management.

Proven experience managing application migrations and enhancements specifically within Azure (AWS experience will not substitute).

Strong conceptual understanding of IAM choices as they relate to migrations (SSO, MFA, service accounts, AD groups, conditional access, and credential policies).

Mandatory experience running Scrum meetings and ceremonies using Azure DevOps (ADO).

Familiarity with tech stacks involving C, C++, UNIX, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, Python, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Oracle, and/or Power BI.

Background in the Energy sector (commercial business) and highly audited environments is highly desired.

PMP, CSM, or SAFe certifications are preferred; experience with ServiceNow ITBM/SPM is a plus.
