Our Pharma client is seeking a Scientific Business Analyst to spearhead the integration of digital solutions within R&PD (Research & Preclinical Development). The early-stage research arm—the scientists and teams discovering new drug targets, developing candidates, and running pre-clinical studies before human trials.

Our Pharma client is seeking a Scientific Business Analyst to spearhead the integration of digital solutions within R&PD (Research & Preclinical Development). The early-stage research arm—the scientists and teams discovering new drug targets, developing candidates, and running pre-clinical studies before human trials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and support scientific data systems and applications
- Manage lab informatics platforms, data workflows, and analytics tools
- Work with scientists to translate research processes into technical requirements
- Act as SBA in support of the SaRA Project, applying expertise in Sample Management, Request Management, Biochemistry, and Pharmaceutical Research to digital and manufacturing systems
- Ensure systems meet compliance and validation standards
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the technical source of truth, leading alignment across Engineering, QA, R&D, and leadership teams
- BA Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT, data systems, informatics, or digital solutions
- Experience working with enterprise applications, data platforms, or scientific IT systems
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and requirements lifecycle management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with laboratory informatics platforms (LIMS, ELN, SDMS)
- Knowledge of drug discovery or preclinical research workflows
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data integration tools
- Programming or scripting experience (Python, R, SQL, etc)
