Scientific Business Analyst III
Our Pharma client is seeking a Scientific Business Analyst III to spearhead the integration of digital solutions within our clients manufacturing ecosystem. This is a high-impact, onsite role requiring a subject matter expert who can navigate the complexities of production environments and translate them into robust technical architectures. The successful candidate will be the primary authority on requirements lifecycle management and digital transformation on the manufacturing floor.

Our Pharma client is seeking a Scientific Business Analyst III to spearhead the integration of digital solutions within our clients manufacturing ecosystem. This is a high-impact, onsite role requiring a subject matter expert who can navigate the complexities of production environments and translate them into robust technical architectures. The successful candidate will be the primary authority on requirements lifecycle management and digital transformation on the manufacturing floor.
Expert Responsibilities
- Strategic Requirements Engineering: Architect and oversee the end-to-end requirements documentation process, ensuring 100% alignment between shop-floor operations and enterprise IT strategy.
- System Design & Orchestration: Utilize Lucid to build complex, multi-layered process maps and system architectures that visualize the flow of data across the manufacturing lifecycle.
- Agile Governance: Lead the implementation of Jira workflows at an expert level, configuring boards, automation, and reporting to drive team velocity and accountability.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the "Source of Truth" for technical specifications, facilitating high-stakes meetings between Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Executive Leadership.
- Vendor & Tool Management: Evaluate and optimize the use of specialized manufacturing software, ensuring data integrity and compliance across all platforms.
- Deep Manufacturing Domain Knowledge: Extensive experience in industrial manufacturing, including a sophisticated understanding of production workflows, supply chain dependencies, and regulatory compliance.
- Advanced Documentation Suite: Master-level ability to produce technical documentation that serves both as a developer roadmap and an executive summary.
- Lucid Mastery: Expertise in using Lucidchart/Lucidspark for complex systems modeling and collaborative brainstorming.
- Jira Administration: Deep knowledge of Jira for project governance, including advanced querying (JQL) and dashboard creation.
- Benchling Expert: Significant experience with Benchling R&D Cloud (or equivalent LIMS/PLM systems) is a major advantage for candidates in the Biopharma or Chemical manufacturing sectors.
- GxP/Validated Systems: Experience working in highly regulated environments where documentation must meet strict audit standards.
- MUST be able to work onsite 4 days per week in Tarrytown, NY
