Location: Cambridge, MA – Hybrid role (MUST be able to work onsite 4 days per week)

Description – Scientific Business Analyst (Data Focus and Technical):
- Translate complex laboratory workflows into comprehensive documented requirements, problem statements, and user stories.
- Map data flows between systems while identifying key data elements, data mapping, and data dictionary documentation.
- Apply requirements traceability matrices to ensure alignment between captured requirements and test cases.
- Investigate data using SQL, Python, AI, and related tools within research environments.
- Support AWS cloud operations, software hosting (EC2, S3, Lambda), containerization (Docker), and microservices architectures.
- Direct development efforts for Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), with Sapio experience heavily preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, Python, and AI tools for data investigation.
- Familiarity with data lake principles and common database types used in research settings.
- Understanding of AWS cloud hosting, containerization, and microservices.
- Direct background in LIMS development and laboratory workflow analysis.
- Preferrable experience with Sapio.
- Pay rate ranging from $85 to $95 per hour
