Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scientific Business Analyst to join our Research IT team, focusing on the Formulation Development domains within the Pharmaceutical industry. This role requires extensive domain expertise, a strong understanding of laboratory informatics systems, and proven change management abilities to successfully implement and drive the adoption of new technological solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scientific Business Analysis: Serve as the subject matter expert bridging the gap between scientific Formulation Development teams and IT. Elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements for laboratory informatics solutions.
- System Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of Labware LIMS and IDBS ELN to configure, optimize, and support these systems for the research community.
- Project Management & Execution: Utilize Jira and Agile methodologies to manage the lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring successful and timely delivery of solutions.
- Change Management & Adoption: Lead comprehensive Change Management initiatives for the rollout of new systems. Develop and deliver training, documentation, and communication strategies to ensure high user adoption across the research organization.
- Process Modeling: Use tools like Lucid to map, analyze, and optimize scientific and data flow processes within the Formulation and Preclinical Development areas.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Ensure solutions align with industry best practices and understand the impact of data standards on Regulatory Submission processes.
- Leadership: Provide technical and domain Leadership for project teams, mentoring junior colleagues and influencing stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive expertise in the Formulation Development domain within a Pharma or Biotech setting.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with lab informatics, specifically Labware LIMS implementation, configuration, or administration.
- Familiarity with other key scientific informatics platforms, such as IDBS ELN.
- Demonstrated experience using Jira and working within Agile development methodologies.
- Strong ability to execute and lead Change Management activities for technology rollouts.
- Knowledge of data governance and standards related to Regulatory Submission.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- MUST be able to work onsite 4 days per week in Tarrytown, NY
