Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Waco, Texas
Duration: Direct Hire
Hourly rate: $20

Role Overview

We are partnering with a leading aerospace and avionics company to hire a Manufacturing Technician to support manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced avionics systems.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong electronic troubleshooting skills who enjoys working at the component level. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure high-quality, reliable products across the manufacturing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies, subassemblies, and final products
  • Conduct component-level diagnostics and root cause analysis, documenting findings and corrective actions
  • Support production activities including assembly rework, quality testing, and process adjustments
  • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) to execute testing and troubleshooting
  • Perform pre-burn-in and final product testing using standard procedures
  • Work with engineering teams to generate problem reports and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
  • Set up and operate test equipment for evaluation and validation of products
  • Support continuous improvement of production efficiency, quality, and reliability
  • Assist in resolving technical issues across the product line with minimal supervision
  • Maintain high workmanship standards and accurate documentation
Required Qualifications
  • 6+ months of experience in an electronic testing or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits down to the component level
  • Experience reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
  • Hands-on soldering skills (certification preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and electronic testing processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks and escalate complex issues appropriately
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Working knowledge of ESD safety practices
