Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot software, hardware, networking issues for users both remotely and onsite.
- Software & Hardware: Install, configure, maintain software; perform hardware upgrades/repairs, OS builds, and patching.
- IT Systems: Collaborate on projects related to infrastructure, operations, and security.
- Documentation: Update knowledge bases and technical documentation.
- Client Focus: Deliver exceptional customer service and timely updates.
- Team Mentality: Mentor and share knowledge with team members to enhance overall support capabilities.
- Education: Associate's in Computer Science or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Experience: 2+ years in Help Desk, technical support, or client-facing IT
- Hardware & Software: Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Microsoft Expertise: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- IT Managed Services: Experience in this environment is a significant plus.
- Core Technologies: VMware, MS 365, MS Azure, Active Directory, DUO VPN, ConnectWise
- Operating Systems: In-depth understanding of Windows 10/11
- Networking: Basic IT and networking fundamentals
- Certifications: A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, CCNP
- Remote & Onsite Support: Proven expertise in both
- Customer Service Focus: Passion for helping clients succeed.
- Collaborative Mindset: Enjoys knowledge-sharing and mentoring fellow technicians.
- Pay rate of $31.25/hour DOE.
- On-site role in Schaumburg, IL
