Job Description

Links Technology is seeking a skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our client's team in Plano, TX. This is fantastic opportunity for an Aerospace Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or a related field. In this fast-paced, highly innovative environment, you’ll have the opportunity to design and advance next-generation aerospace and defense technologies—those shaping missions today and defining what’s possible tomorrow.
If you’re energized by bringing bold ideas to life, you’ll fit right in. You will research, design, develop, test, certify, and continuously improve cutting-edge products across a wide spectrum—from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems to fully integrated aircraft platforms. Your work will span the full product lifecycle and involve developing complex aerodynamic components, structures, and systems.
  Responsibilities of the Aerospace Engineer:
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex aircraft interior heat-transfer models, heat-exchanger flow paths, and exhaust plume impingement challenges within the NC3 business area
  • Plan, schedule, execute, and document thermal analysis campaigns for transport-category aircraft in support of cross-functional engineering teams
  • Review, synthesize, and present analysis results to internal stakeholders, leadership, and customers
  • Collaborate with flight-test and ground-test teams to plan data collection and reduce test data for analysis model validation and certification compliance
  • Identify gaps in current thermal-analysis workflows, support training efforts, and recommend tools to strengthen program execution
Qualifications of the Aerospace Engineer:
  • Strong knowledge of core engineering principles and practices
  • Hands-on experience using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools to analyze aerodynamic and heat-transfer behaviors in aerospace applications
  • Experience with free- and forced-convection heat-transfer modeling for aircraft interiors
  • Proven ability to perform thermal analyses in support of 14 CFR Part 25 Type Certification (TC) or Supplemental Type Certification (STC) programs
  • Understanding of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • Experience working within multi-disciplinary design and development teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or related field
Benefits of the Aerospace Engineer:
  • Up to a one-year contract
  • 10 Days PTO
  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Matching 401k
  • ONSITE role in Plano, TX
  • Paying up to $59/hr
