Job Description
Responsibilities of the Product Support Engineer
- As a Product Support Engineer III, you will be using your skills and hands-on expertise to provide technical support and troubleshooting for our product and system prototypes.
- You'll be responsible for assessing our customer needs and determining the most appropriate technical solution for concept and prototype products and systems.
- You're technical responsibilities include product installation, testing, error/defect detection and correction, and coordinating the appropriate corrective action with engineers and operators.
- Huge plus in telemetry systems (niche, so not hard requirements, but good to have)
- May be required to dive in and develop tech data in some scenarios.
- High level of business development, really old aircraft (only 5 flying in the world)
Qualifications of the Product Support Engineer
- Exposure to wireless networks, tactical communications and personal computers
- Communication and customer interface skills
- Familiarity with system level maintenance of networks and communications systems
- Working knowledge of operating military units and logistics
- Familiarity with the network and integration of traditional communications systems and sensors
- Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques.
- Experience with RF, vehicle installation and maintenance procedures
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US Military Leadership experience in the military or civilian organization
- Education: Must-haves: Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or typically 6 or more years of related experience Basic background, ability to obtain/maintain Skills and Experience
- Ability to maintain a flight physical
