Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Logistics Specialist I to join our client's team in Parker, CO. Our client is a leading firm in the aerospace and defense industry. This is a Temp role offering an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic logistics environment.
Responsibilities of the Logistics Specialist I:
- Assist with the preparation of logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals.
- Support routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics.
- Track logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities.
- Learn applicable state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure efficient and accurate movement of materials.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques.
- Experience with shipping databases such as FedEx, DHL, or UPS.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
