Job Description


Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Logistics Specialist I to join our client's team in Colorado Springs, CO. Our client is an innovative firm in the Aerospace and Defense industry. This is a Temp-to-Perm role offering an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates with a current, active SECRET clearance to start a career in aerospace logistics. On-the-job training will be provided to support your growth. We strongly encourage veterans and those with military logistics experience to apply.

Responsibilities of the Logistics Specialist I:
  • Assist in the preparation of logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, and materials.
  • Support the routing, documenting, and coordination of shipping logistics to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with teams to track logistics materials and parts for proper allocation across our storage facilities.
  • Learn and apply applicable state, federal, and global regulations, including import/export requirements.

Qualifications of the Logistics Specialist I:
  • Must possess a current and active SECRET security clearance.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • No formal logistics or supply chain experience required. Motivated candidates with strong organizational skills will receive training on essential job functions. Relevant experience from a military background is a significant plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with shipping databases (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS) and inventory databases is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and possession of HazMat Training/Certification are highly desirable.
  • Must be able to pass a hearing exam, Ishihara eye exam, and a non-DOT physical as a condition of employment.
