Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Logistics Specialist III to join our client's team in Parker, Colorado. Our client is an Industrial/Manufacturing firm. This is a Contract role offering the opportunity to play a vital role in establishing and maintaining the logistics pipeline for critical materials.


Responsibilities of the Logistics Specialist III:
  • Prepare logistics documentation to establish the pipeline for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals.
  • Route, document, and coordinate shipping logistics.
  • Maintain records of equipment, components, repair parts, and related manuals.
  • Track logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure shipping activities adhere to state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements.
  • Operate or supervise vehicles, heavy, or dangerous equipment or machinery. Inspect, handle, or transport explosives, dangerous, or hazardous materials.


Qualifications of the Logistics Specialist III:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 4 or more years of hands-on experience in logistics or a related field. A higher-level degree may substitute for experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Understanding and experience with the practical application of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques.
  • Progressive experience with inventory databases.
  • Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, or UPS. Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems is preferred.
  • HazMat Training/Certification is preferred.
  • Ability to operate a Forklift is preferred.
  • Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a clean driving record are preferred.
  • Familiarity with Shelf Life concepts.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military is a plus.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
  • Successful completion of a DOT physical, Hearing exam, and Ishihara eye exam will be required.
  • Strong attention to detail and Excellent organizational skills.
