Links Technology Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Help Desk Technician to fill an opening with an investment company.

Responsibilities of the Help Desk Technician
- Install, test and update computer equipment (computers, servers, peripherals, operating systems and software applications).
- Evaluate, test, implement and integrate new software applications.
- Provide user support and basic training on computer hardware and software both in person and over the phone to remote users.
- Provide executive level support experience to executives for office and in-home application.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and working with vendors to solve problems with defective hardware products and malfunctioning software.
- Set up and maintain printers, AV systems and other shared IT equipment, as needed, to ensure a simple, seamless and reliable user experience.
- Provide mobile device support and synchronization with office hardware and software.
- Coordinate cybersecurity training and protocol implementation across the office.
Qualifications of the Help Desk Technician
- Minimum 2 years of hardware and software support experience
- Telecommunication support experience
- IT teaching and/or training experience
- Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Experience with Windows Mac operating systems, GSuite, Box, Slack, IPhone, and Global relay
- Experience working in a regulated tech environment
- Demonstrated use of consistently good judgment in managing and protecting highly confidential information

- Location: Downtown Chicago, IL – Hybrid role (MUST be able to work onsite 3-4 days per week)
- Paying up to $38/hr
- Long term contract with the possibility of contract to hire
