Responsibilities of the Data Scientist
- As a member of the Data Science & Innovation team within our dynamic Business Transformation Office, you'll be crafting innovative AI capabilities for our client’s supply chain.
- Your role is pivotal in developing cloud-based AI products, using a rich toolbox of techniques from NLP, Machine Learning, and Optimization to address pressing business questions.
- You'll design scalable decision support systems that empower strategic growth and enhance our supply chain operations.
Qualifications of the Data Scientist
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science or a similar field with 4+ years of experience or PhD with 1+ years of related experience.
- Proficiency in coding with general-purpose programming languages like Python/R and a thorough understanding of programming abstraction concepts.
- Solid knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms and Statistical Modeling, alongside a proven track record to design and architect scalable ML solutions adept at handling real-world data intricacies.
- Well-versed in data manipulation and analysis, with a firm grasp of algorithms and data structures, contributing to a robust software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated practical experience in architecting and implementing cloud based AI products using both open-source and commercial solvers with a solid grasp of cloud services and infrastructure.
- Experience in creating Generative AI language applications.
- Comprehensive understanding of MLOps processes, ensuring best practices are met.
- Deep understanding of solving operations research problems, particularly adept in constrained linear programming
- Experience with graph-based machine learning systems for modeling and optimizing complex networks.
