Job Description
Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Data Processing Administrator to join our client's team in Schaumburg, IL. Our client is a well-established CPA firm. This is a Full Time role offering a stable and supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities of the Data Processing Administrator:
- Manage the full lifecycle of tax return processing, including review, printing, releasing, and uploading returns and extensions.
- Provide comprehensive client support by delivering requested documents, managing portal inquiries, and handling new client setups.
- Maintain and update client data, including address changes, deactivations, and database cleanup for tax season preparation.
- Generate and distribute various reports, including tax reports, data mining reports, and year-end documents like W-2s and 1099s.
- Handle administrative tasks such as reviewing tax notices, managing firm billing, maintaining office systems, and providing basic IT support.
- Support office operations by managing supplies, assisting with kitchen duties, handling phone calls, and distributing faxes.
- Provide backup support for tax/accounting data entry and document management in GFR.
Qualifications of the Data Processing Administrator:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in data processing or administrative roles.
- Proficiency in data entry and management.
- Experience with office systems and software.
- Familiarity with tax-related documents and processes is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
