Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Project Manager to join our client's team in Tarrytown, NY. Our client is a leading Pharma/Biotech firm. This is a long-term contract role offering a hybrid work schedule of 3 days onsite and the opportunity to lead a critical, in-progress project from day one.
Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:
  • Plan and coordinate service transactions for operational use, ensuring resources are aligned effectively.
  • Manage and control changes throughout product life cycles, minimizing disruptions and maximizing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure new and modified services meet operational expectations and contribute to overall success.
  • Proactively manage unintended consequences related to service modifications, implementing solutions as needed.
  • Manage clear and effective stakeholder communications, keeping all parties informed and aligned.
  • Lead the customization and integration of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications, ensuring tailored solutions align with specific business requirements.
  • Drive application development lifecycle initiatives for COTS customization projects.
Qualifications of the Senior Project Manager:
  • Bachelor's (BA/BS) Degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Project Management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding and experience with the application development lifecycle.
  • Experience with Jira and Atlassian tools.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage diverse stakeholder relationships and facilitate consensus in complex environments.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
